The Gearboxes are designed for connecting gear pumps to farm tractor power take-offs (PTO). The output speed of power take-offs is 540rpm which can be compared with the proper running speeds of hydraulic pumps. Different input running speeds can also be suitable, provided that the gearbox output speed does not exceed 3000 rpm.

| Gears | Made in Steel UNI 18 PCR M03.Stub teeth guarantee very high resistance and run very quietly. |
| Shafts | Made in steel UNI 16 CRN4.They are coupled with gears via splined parts and are thus more suitable to stand the torques stated in the catalog. |
| Torques | The torque figures mentioned in the technical charts of all the PTO Gearboxes refer to continuous duty cycles. Torques under intermittent working conditions can be exceeded by 20%. |
| Lubrication | gear oil must be put in the PTO gearbox prior to use-please note we do not supply the gear oil and will not accept responsibility for customers not putting oil in. Change the oil after the first 60-80 hours and then every 12 months or 1500 hours whichever falls first. |
| Maintenance | Please check the oil level via the special oil window every 50 hours. Working temperatures should not exceed 120 degrees Celcius under a continuous duty cycle. |
| Pump assembly | Pump assembly requires a half-coupling and a fitting flange according to specific requirements when ordering please specify flange and pump shaft type. Contact our technical staff when installing special pumps. |
P.T.O TRACTOR GEARBOXES
The gearbox series are used mainly for connecting hydraulic pumps to the power take-offs of agricultural tractors. PTO output, standardized at either 540 or 1,000 rpm, is, in this way, increased to optimum operating speeds for the hydraulic pumps. RD series of gearboxes are used to reduce hydraulic motor speed.
ML and B series gearboxes provide the connection for hydraulic pumps to low-speed tractor power take-off. The standard power take-off speed of 540 rpm, is increased by the gearbox ratio to optimal speed conditions required for the pump. Different inputs are accepted under the condition that the output speeds don’t go over 3000 rpm.
Application of Hydraulic PTO Speed Increaser
This new P.T.O (Power Take Off) consists of a 3:1 step-up gearbox and a hydraulic gear pump. It is ideal for adding hydraulic power to tractors and landscape equipment that are not already equipped with hydraulic circuits.
Used to power hydraulic augers, front-end loaders, lawnmowers, rotary sweepers, post hole drills, and post drives. These gearboxes are mainly used to connect the power take-off shaft at the rear of the tractor to drive the hydraulic pump to generate fluid power.
